Workflow Wellbeing
I personally struggle with a few things while I work at home. I am unsure how much time I spend, which makes me underestimate the time and I feel guilty not working long enough, I fixate on the screen for too long which hurts my eyes and creates strains across my body, and I don’t drink enough, which is overall unhealthy. But in this brief post, I’ll go into a couple of applications which have helped improve my wellbeing, as well as some small asides.
Automating Workflow
In further attempts to simplify life, as previously discussed here, I have recently made changes to my freelancing workflow when using Affinity Photo to automate the more mundane aspects which took up unnecessary time and focus. In this post, I’ll go into which applications and settings I’m using to achieve all this on my Mac.
Mastodon Migration
In a previous post on mine from last year, I wrote about how Mastodon has given me a great sense of community, and I now feel significantly less alone online. However, I recently, yet again, changed where I call home on Mastodon. In this short post, I’ll go into where I’ve come from, deciding on where I went, and how I got there.
Finch
Finch is a self-care app with many feature, I wrote about it briefly in this post here. Here you will find screenshots of my birb Nova and the adventures she gets up to, as well as information about her personality!
