Autonomous sensory meridian response, better known as ASMR, is a bodily sensation which often feels like tingling. Although I do not experience this feeling, I enjoy relaxing to ASMR, finding it helps switch my brain off and rest.
The following are my favourite ASMR channels, with a brief description of their content.
Ana Aster
Ana Aster creates non-verbal content, usually around three hours long, featuring numerous triggers using a variety of different tools, objects, and microphones.
Twix ASMR
Twix ASMR visits various salons and spas across Japan and has her visits recorded by her sister. The videos are in softly-spoken Japanese with English subtitles.
LaLek ASMR
LaLek ASMR gets massages, salon treatments and spa therapies across South East Asia, with most of the content being unspoken aside from a few minor pieces of conversation.
ASMR Beauty
ASMR Beauty attends various therapeutic sessions in the UK ranging from manicures to colour consolations, from acupuncture to massages, often with lots of conversation and explanation by the practitioner.
Whispers Red
Whispers Red creates cosy wide ranging content, including role-play, casual chatting, unscripted ASMR, and videos with various trigger objects.
ediyasmr
ediyasmr’s videos create a soothing and safe space through meditations, reiki, tarot readings and more, with soft-spoken speech towards the viewer.
Coromo Sara
Coromo Sara’s videos are usually non-verbal, focusing instead on objects creating scratching, tapping, peeling or brushing sounds, with videos usually ranging between twenty minutes to over three hours.
esteASMR
esteASMR visits beauty salons and spas primarily in South Korea, with the focus on these treatments and usually little talking aside from the initial introduction, though does provide her commentary in the subtitles.
Moonlight Cottage ASMR
Moonlight Cottage ASMR creates immersive and elaborate role-playing videos with an incredibly high production value, almost entirely in an historical setting, usually running between twenty minutes and one hour in length.
Reiki with Anna
Reiki with Anna does what it says it does, with Anna performing reiki in these calming, relaxing, and encouraging videos, which create a cozy and comforting atmosphere as she speaks softly and occasionally utilises some ASMR techniques such as tapping and hand fluttering.
ShiliASMR
ShiliASMR’s videos feature her undergoing various spa, massage and beauty treatments across Asia, ranging from the everyday normal to the strange and unusual. There is often minimal talking, though her thoughts are displayed in the subtitles.
Whispers of the Wolf ASMR
Whispers of the Wolf ASMR blends AMSR and reiki together to create soothing videos helping to unwind and relax as she softly speaks, uses her hands, and sometimes objects to perform her reiki.
Wood Soup Girl ASMR
Wood Soup Girl ASMR primarily focuses on non-talking videos where she pours and stirs wooden objects in water, creating a “wood soup”, but also occasionally releases other ASMR videos with tapping, scratching and brushing.
Sarah Lavender ASMR
Sarah Lavender ASMR videos feature her talking to the camera in a soothing and reassuring way helping the viewer to unwind with calming sounds and positive affirmations alongside the usual ASMR techniques.
Vito ASMR
Vito ASMR combines various ASMR methods with numerous objects in a wide ranging set of non-verbal videos, which can run anywhere from forty minutes all the way past four hours.
